ON THE GLOBAL HEALTH PHARMACY CERTIFICATE COURSE RECENTLY HOSTED IN NIGERIA

A participant's narrative:

The Initiative is very promising in the sense that I believe its goals are to reach out to the common man like me who are in a better position to help spread the good news of Global Health, indirectly helping the populace in this region of the world, letting everyone know that health care is quite a reason for concern.

.
What I learned:
1. The pharmacy profession doesn't just end in the four corners of the classroom and hospital but finds application on a global scale which requires critical thinkers.
2. We, as pharmacists in the making, have a lot of responsibilities in the global scale and for us to meet them we have to think outside the box.
3. Global health Pharmacy is the way forward if we want to remain relevant in the health system.
4. Drugs and Disease are two things that go hand in hand in the health profession and we, as custodians of drugs, will have to stand to our feet and make sure that we are in control of all activities pertaining drugs.
5. The world is changing and we, the pharmacists, have to change, be dynamic, explore the new advantage Global health Pharmacy has brought.
etc.

.
What I will do with the things learned:
1. Sensitize my local community and help with the propagation of the message of Gobal Health Pharmacy.
2. Use my knowledge in evaluating drug therapy and the economic, clinical and humanistic outcome and making appropriate decisions with the result.
3. And I am going to build on my knowledge of global health so I can be relevant in the International community.

.

Thank you! Pardon my long writing....I was just very eager to show my appreciation for the Course and immediately this opportunity came up, I jumped on it.

Your newest critical thinker,
Panuel Penuel.

Thanks!
